OK, for those of you buying tickets through a 3rd party, this is a General Admission venue. Was she trying to teach me a lesson because if so, lesson learned to not come back to this garbage establishment. The fact that it was preferred to leave our seats empty because “I Shouldn’t be purchasing tickets from stub hub” on tickets that scanned and gained us entry to the venue makes me think that the person working the ticket counter was petty and decided to make up her own company policy on the fly.

What if the tickets were a gift ? Would I not have been able to sit in the seats that I paid for because I didn’t have the ID of the purchase who originally bought the tickets ? So the whole night we got to see our empty seats from a crummy obstructed view on the balcony for which I paid to avoid.

Throughout this whole process I was not granted any eye contact, no solution for any help, no offer to find a manager, just a casual too bad and a lecture about how I “shouldn’t be purchasing tickets from stub hub.” I proceeded to inquire if other purchasers from stub hub had the same problem to a basic shrug and I don’t know. But being so generous, she told us we would have to stand on the balcony on the second floor. However when I went to the table staffed by two rude young women who hopefully don’t get paid a high hourly wage because their customer service was a total joke, proceeded to tell me that I could not get a wristband for our seats because my ID didn’t match the buyer on the ticket. Best of all, we had seats for a show with tickets I purchased from Stubhub, that mind you, scanned correctly and granted me entry. The staff is incredibly rude, with one id checker telling me “he didn’t care about my ticket and take it inside”, instead of a simple “your ticket will be scanned inside.” Let’s not forget the ticket scanner screaming completely opposite directions than what was being said by the person conducting security screenings with the walkthrough metal detector. Tonight was the last time I will be seeing a show at Paradise Rock Club regardless of how badly I want to see the act.
